Born: 18 March 1997 (25 years)
Dutch judoka Jur Spijkers captured the gold medal at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2021 and 2022. He became European Cadet Champion U18 in 2014 in Athens. With the Dutch team he won silver at the World Junior Mixed Team Championships in Zagreb in 2017. Spijkers took a bronze medal at the Grand Prix Tbilisi in 2018. He won gold at the European Open in Warsaw in 2019 and 2020. Jur claimed silver at the European U23 Championships 2019 in Izhevsk. He took bronze at the Grand Slam in Tel Aviv in 2021. He bagged bronze at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2021 and silver in Abu Dhabi in 2022.
