Judoka from Japan Niizoe Saki is the 2023 World Champion of Doha and claimed a bronze medal at the World Championships in Tashkent in 2022. She captured the gold medal at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2021. Saki won the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2016 and 2022. Saki took bronze at the Grand Slam in Ekaterinburg in 2017. Saki won the Grand Prix in Budapest in 2018. Niizoe won the World Masters in 2018 in Guangzhou. She clinched a gold medal at the gold Grand Prix in Hohhot in 2019. She took Grand Slam silver in Paris in 2020 and 2022. She won the gold medal at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2023.
