American judoka Marti Malloy won Olympic Games bronze in London 2012. She was 2011 runner up of the World Championships and 5th in 2015. She won gold at the Grand Prix Havana in 2016 and bronze at the Grand Slam Paris. Pan American Champion in Toronto in 2015. She beat Ronda Rousey once. She won bronze at the European Open in Oberwart and gold at the Grand Prix in Cancun in 2017. Malloy studied journalism.
