Abigel Joo-Edelyi started 2016 with judo gold at the Grand Prix Havana and she took gold at the Grand Prix in Zagreb and Tashkent. She is double European champion in 2010 and 2012 and bronze in 2017. She won 4 European titles U23 and 3 Junior European titles and 2 World Junior bronze medals. She tore her ligaments at the 2012 Olympic Games. She finished 7th at the Rio Olympic Games. She won bronze at the European Open in Oberwart in 2017 bronze at the Grand Slams in Baku and Ekaterinburg in 2017.
