Belgian Roxane Taeymans won the European U23 title in 2013 in Samokov U70kg. In the seniors she won her first World Cups in 2015 in Santiago and Minsk. At national level she won national titles in each age division: U17, U20 and seniors twice. She won silver at the Grand Prix in Tunis in 2018. The uchi-mata technician has been balancing with her Masters degree Management at KU research University in Leuven. Taeymans retired in March 2021.
