Judoka Ruslan Mirzaliyev from Ukraine was European Champion in 2001 in Paris U66kg. He clinched a silver medal at the European Championships in 1998 in Oviedo U60kg. He competed at the Sydney Olympic Games 60kg. He collected seven World Cup medals including four at the Polish Open. He won the Grand Prix in Moscow in 2001 and A-Tournament in Tallinn in 2003. he became coach after his career.
