Soichi Hashimoto is considered as the logical successor of double Olympic Champion Shohei Ono. Be was 2017 world champion and amassed silver medals in 2018, 2022, and 2023, along with a bronze in 2021.Together with 2020 Olympic champion Shohei Ono dominated the -73kg category from 2016 to 2023 winning six Grand Slams and two Grand Prix events and four IJF World Masters (2016, 2017, 2019, 2023). Won the World Mixed team gold six times with his team.
