Adrian Gandia of Puerto Rico contributed to the team that won gold at the Youth Olympic Games team event in Nanjing in 2014. He stranded in the first round of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo after his loss against world champion Matthias Casse. Adrian Gandia (PUR) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for cadets U66kg in 2014. He bagged a bronze medal at the Pan American Open in Medellin in 2023. Competed at Senior World Championships since 2015 and fought at Cadet and Junior worlds. He was Pan American Champion -81kg in 2020 in Guadalajara and bronze in 2024.
