Russian judoka Khamzat Akhmarov won a bronze medal at the European Cadet Championships U18 Sofia in 2015 and bronze at the Cadet World Championships in Sarajevo in 2015. He claimed a bronze medal at the European Cup in Orenburg in 2018. In 2019 he took silver at the Junior European Cup in St. Petersburg.
