Azeri men strong, Hungarian women take two gold medals

Azerbaijan was again strong at the second day of the European Cup in Celje, with a victory in the medal and four medals, the Azeri men dominated the tournament. It left space to other countries in the women’s division where Hungary claimed two gold medals on Sunday.

In the men's U81 category, Magerram Imamverdiev from Azerbaijan clinched the gold medal, defeating Igor Tsurkan from Ukraine in the final. Bendeguz Demeter and Botond Toth, both from Hungary, shared the bronze medals.

Islam Sogenov of Serbia emerged victorious in the men's U90 category, securing the gold medal by overcoming Jakub Pankowski from Poland took silver. The bronze medals went to Radomir Musil from the Czech Republic and Bosko Borenovic from Serbia.

In the men's U100 category, Zaur Dunyamaliyev from Ukraine claimed the gold medal, defeating Viktor Adam from Slovakia, who secured silver. The bronze medals were awarded to Bekzat Shagatayev from Kazakhstan and Zalan Ohat from Hungary.

Imran Yusifov of Azerbaijan won the gold medal in the men's O100 category, besting Alieksiei Moisieiev from Ukraine, who took silver. Mortaza Suha from Germany and Jamal Feyziyev from Azerbaijan both earned bronze medals.

In the women's events, Hitomi Sakaguchi from Japan triumphed in the U48 category, securing gold against compatriot Yua Mori, who took silver. Rebeka Rita Koszegi from Hungary and Sarah Ischt from Germany shared the bronze medals.

Youngster Luca Mamira (19) of Hungary clinched the gold in the women's U52 category, with Micaela Sciacovelli from Italy earning silver. The bronze medals went to Erza Muminoviq from Kosovo and Klaudia Cieślik from Poland.

In the women's U57 category, Kitti Kovács from Hungary took the second gold medal and emerged as the champion, defeating Helene Riegert from Germany, who took silver. The bronze medals were awarded to Nika Tomc from Slovenia and Flaka Loxha from Kosovo.
