Judoka Ruslan Nasirli from Azerbaijan took a bronze medal at the Junior European Cup in Coimbra in 2021. He secured a silver medal at the Junior European Cup in Athens in 2022. He bagged a bronze medal at the Junior European Cup in Nanterre. With the Junior team of Azerbaijan he secured a bronze medal at the European Mixed team Championships. He secured a bronze medal at the European Open in Sarajevo in 2023.
