Jens Ahrenhold
International Judo referee Jens Ahrenhold worked in many functions for judo for decades. He was part of the Lower Saxony judo family for 50 years. It was not until November 2021 that the Association Day elected him as Vice President of Competitive Sports. At international level Jens could be seen as an excellent referee at many major championships. Numerous German championships, Bundesliga finals, international measures and European championships were among the highlights of his career. As a referee observer, he passed his knowledge on to many young referees. he passed away in January 2022
