Azeri judoka Aslan Kotsoev captured the victory at the Cadet European Cup in Zagreb and Teplice in 2023. He won the Cadet European Mixed team title with Azerbaijan in 2023. he is younger brother of Zelym Kotsoiev. He triumphed at the EYOF in Maribor in 2023. He triumphed at the International Masters Bremen for juniors U21 in 2024. Bagged a bronze medal at the 2024 Junior European Cup in Prague. Silver at 2024 Junior European Championships in Tallinn.
