French judoka Axel Clerget won bronze at the World Championships in Tokyo in 2019 and Baku in 2018. In 2019 he won the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv. Clerget grabbed silver at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi and Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2016. In 2009 he won bronze at the Grand Slam in Paris. Clerget took silver at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2017 and silver at the Europeans in Warsaw in 2017. He took bronze at the GP Portugal in 2023. He took silver at the Grand Prix in Linz in 2023. He took a bronze medal at the Grand Slam Qazaq Barysy in Astana in 2023. Attained silver at the 2024 European Open in Madrid.
