Kayra Ozdemir, formerly Ketty Mathe, transitioned to her married name Kayra Sayit in 2015 in Türkiye. Her judo career shines with European Championship titles in 2021 and 2016, along with bronze at the World Championships in Tokyo (2019) and Baku (2018). Adding to her accolades, she claimed silver at the Grand Slam in Paris (2024) and gold at the Grand Slam in Budapest (2020). With 26 World Cup medals to her name, Kayra took victories at the Grand Slam in Antalya (2023) and the Grand Prix in Zagreb (2023). Though she placed fifth in both the Tokyo 2020 and Rio 2016 Olympics.
