Former world #1 Brazilian judoka Rafael Silva is a heavyweight stalwart, clinching Olympic bronze in London (2012) and Rio (2016), and world bronze in Doha (2023), 2017, and 2014, alongside silver in 2013. He secured World Mixed team bronze in Tokyo (2019) and Grand Slam victory in Tyumen (2014). With 39 World Cup medals, including 9 wins, he's a Pan American champion (2019) and secured gold at the Pan American Championships in Guadalajara (2021) and a silver in Lima (2022) and Rio (2024). He took bronze at the Grand Slam in Tel Aviv and gold at the Pan American Open in Santiago (2023).
