Dutch judoka Junior Degen won the European Open in Tallinn in 2014. Degen was Dutch champion in 2015. He won bronze at the 2012 European Junior Championships in Porec. He captured the Dutch senior title in 2017 with a remarkable comeback. He took silver in 2018 and 2019.
