Maria García of the Dominican Republic finished 9th at the 2012 OIympic Games in London U52kg. Garcia won 6 medals at Pan American Championships and Games and she won World Cup medals in Rio and Montevideo in 2012 and 2013. She won bronze at the PanAm Open in Lima in 2016.
