Korean judoka Choi Min-Ho (KOR), two-time Olympic -60kg medallist (2008 gold, 2004 bronze), two-time world championship medallist (2003 gold, 2007 bronze). Choi was the surprising Olympic Champion U60kg of Beijing. Although he had won the 2003 World Champion in Osaka and won bronze in 2007. He defeated Ludwig Paischer (AUT) in the final. In 2004, Choi was still the only major player doing reverse seoi-nage but the technique had gained recognition, and Choi won two matches in the 2004 Athens Olympics using his then-highly unusual reverse seoi-nage.This technique would explode in popularity.
