Korean judoka Min-Jong Kim captured the world title in 2024 in Abu Dhabi +100kg defeating Tushishvili. He won bronze at the World Championships in Tokyo 2019 and Tashkent 2022. Kim clinched a bronze medal at the Junior Worlds in Marrakech in 2019. He started with the Cadet World title in 2017 in Santiago de Chile. He captured a silver medal at the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2023 and silver in Ulaanbaatar and Paris in 2024. He seized gold at the GP of Portugal which he also won in 2022 and silver in 2024. He clinched the gold medal at the Summer World University Games in Chengdu in 2023.
